Cycling.Vienna

Traffic has become one of the biggest problems of cities. A question, which has always been arised. Cities try again to get under control. A possibilty to reduce individual motorized traffic is, to make alternatives attractive. So comes, that the Ministry of Life published a scetch for a Masterplan for Cycling.
Because it is a daily challenge to use the bike, I´ll come up with a concept of an new cycle path for Vienna, including certain attractors.
The cycling path becomes a ribbon which is gathering and dealing with topographically city conditions and closing the gaps of the extisting network.
The City of Vienna as well puts its more and more focus on cyclists and public transportation to motivate people changing from the car to an alternative. Still there are lots of dangerous circumstances, too much rules and not enough space.
To expand space the cycling path will prior run on different city levels, which is hardly realised in Vienna.
