The MediaSquare

The Mediasquare is a three-dimensional virtual space that encourages users impersonated as avatars to explore organized text, images and audio streams. Organization can be done through a self-organizing map or "manually" by creating a specific folder structure on the file system. The client-server architecture of the system allows multiple users to collaborate and interact with each other while exploring the presented media.
