Apart from the daily work, attac wants to focus on two major topics for the next 6 months, one of which will be tax justice.
Multinational companies and big fortunes are contributing lesser and lesser to the national budgets, the tax rates on profits are decreasing every year, which threaten states' ability to tax the wealthy beneficiaries of globalisation.
These trends have disturbing implications for development, democracy, public services and poverty.
