WORKING PLACE PROPOSAL

The idea came up to create a guided tour in the tradition of oral history manner as successfully practiced in other cities f.ex.: New York, Cracovia etc.

>WALK WITH A LOCAL< could be a service provided by the bauhaus foundation
and an opportunity for tourists to learn more about the uniqueness of Walter Gropius employment office and the historical area and surrounding buildings. These informations do not appear in commercial tourist publications.
Residents from Dessau will be chosen by a coordinator, who is living in the area of the former employment office at August-Bebel-Platz. He/She is the linking connection between Bauhaus foundation and the guiding resident.
